I strive to design features that naturally connect people, sowing meaningful and fruitful relationships.

I currently part-time at VESL UMVerse. I'm an ex-UI/UX intern at Activision Blizzard.

Who am I?

Huge multi-passionate creative. I love drawing realism, abstract, and anime, with a love for both vibrant and earthy tones—browns and greens are my go-to. As a dedicated Capricorn, I take pride in my work and value financial stability (you can explore my work on RESCA). I’m a double major at the University of Miami, earning a BA in Computer Science and a BSC in Interactive Media, with a minor in Graphic Design. During my studies, I interned at Activision Blizzard as a UX/UI designer for the Call of Duty franchise.

When I am able to allocate time to myself I create. Whether it's drawing a new piece, working on my design skills, finishing my websites, or learning some back-end. For the past two years, I’ve been honing my game development and media marketing skills through my independent gaming studio, preparing to rejoin the industry full-time with a new experience and fresh perspectives.

In the future, I am excited to join a medium-sized team of passionate creatives who bring energy and curiosity to their work every day. I’m eager to collaborate with designers who aren’t afraid to think outside the box, who maintain a youthful, dynamic approach to their craft, and who are always learning and evolving. I am especially motivated to design for a franchise that fosters a positive, adaptable community — an audience that embraces change, appreciates innovation, and supports the developers behind the experience.

Testimonials

I had the pleasure of working with Gaelle on Call of Duty. She impressed me with her rich knowledge of the game and her talent as a UI/UX designer.

Gaelle is remarkable at extracting useful elements from her observations and feedback from others, which she then incorporates into her designs to continuously improve the user experience. Working with Gaelle was always a breeze. Her generosity in providing constructive feedback and her openness to receiving it make her a valuable teammate. Not only does she deliver exceptional quality in her own work, but she also empowers her teammates to achieve the same level of excellence.

Laura Ruoxi Yang

VFX Intern @ Activision Blizzard

Gaelle is one of the best teammates I have worked with at Raven! She has an excellent sense of the product and features and has an extensive knowledge of the game industry. She is thoughtful and observant of user experience and empathy of our user. She’s incredibly curious, always asking questions and voicing her opinion and ideas.

Discussing with Gaelle how to approach problems to uncover pain points, then tackling them with creative solutions helped me grow tremendously. If you have a chance to work with Gaelle, don't hesitate!

Cindy Quach

UI/UX Intern @ Activision Blizzard

Gaelle is an exceptionally hard worker and would be an invaluable addition to any team. Her combination of design thinking, work ethic, and attention to detail makes her a force to be reckoned with.

Gaelle applies herself 100% to everything she does and it shows in all of her projects. I have met few people as driven or as dedicated to their craft as Gaelle and it has been a pleasure to work alongside her on multiple projects and teams.

Rachel Farinas

Product Manager @ VESL

Gaelle showed great passion and high work ethic in her role as UX/UI intern. She is sensitive to player data, and would use it to support her designs. She has the skills and the great potential to be a strong UX designer!
